Lost headlights on trip

50 miles into 400 mile drive I discovered I had lost both headlights. I found the top bracket on my 2008 Stallion headlight broke. I tightened dim light successfully and continued on trip without bright lights. Halfway through the trip we pulled into Meadows Bike & Trike Shop in Rutherford TN. After checking, John Meadows suggested updating lights to new type currently used in bikes. Our current lights are bubble bulb. Has anyone had the same problem? Did you upgrade? I'd appreciate more info.

we upgraded because the new ones are brighter. Did not have the breaking problem. Dealer did upgrade while still under warrantee.

Sorry no. it was done by the dealer and I never saw the numbers. The factory has what you need. The whole assembly is replaced. There is some slight fiberglass cutting required.

I upgraded earlier this year and lights are much better, However they do not fit like the originals and I had problem with front wheel hitting the left side and breaking bulbs. Problem was resolved with updated shocks and raising body that was about 1.5 inches lower than specs. be sure to check on those items when you convert.
