Hello all, I found this site and it looked like a great bunch of folks. I have had my Harley Triglide for 3 weeks and have been able to put close to 400 miles on it thus far. My first "road bike" as I grew up in the dirt. I am in my late 30's and bought it as my wife feels safer on three than on two. I really love the trikes though. Maybe I don't fit the mold, but trikes are for everyone. I don't think HD took into consideration the wants out there. I took around 3 months in making my decision. I rode the Victory Pitboss trike, and the suzuki;s. I also rpad some HD convertables. For me this Bike was like night and day, and I made my choice. Let me say I did enjoy all the ones I road but for my preference I chose the Tri Glide. I think I saw someone else say on here we could ride bicycles and have fun, I agree.

Hey SCHDTRIKE, and a big welcome to TrikeTalk. Sounds like you did your homework; that is the way to do it! What matters is that you found the right one for you. You are right -- anyone fits the mold for a trike! You and your wife are going to really enjoy it as the months go by. Again, welcome! and I hope you continue to be an active participant on this site.

Welcome SCHDTRIKE,
Doesn't matter why you ride one, Trikes are cool......
Glad you and your wife are enjoying your new scooter. :)

SCHDTRIKE
Welcome, hope you and your wife, have many happy miles on your trike.

Another nice thing about a trike....IF anything would happen to you...sick or whatever...your wife can put it in gear and guide it to the next town. That alone made my wife feel better about riding around the country.:)

Welcome to the "Tricycle Club"...! The more you ride your trike, the more reasons you'll find why you bought it. I'm like a lot of others here, I rode 2 wheels since the 60's and I wonder why I didn't get one much sooner. Be safe and enjoy, and we're glad that you found us....:)

This may sound strange, but I really love this trike. I never fealt this way about any car I have ever purchased. Every time I get on it to ride, you are right, I find other reasons I love it. I even like pulling up the rear when riding with my 2 wheel friends.

First thing I showed My wife was the kill switch I said if something happens to me reach over and hit it . The worse thing it will go into a ditch. On 2 wheels it would be a lot worse.
