Loaded the trike a couple hours ago on the Royal Caribbean ship, "Explorer Of The Seas".
I'm the only trike. Maybe 30 bikes. very friendly riders. For anybody in San Juan, we are supposed to be stopping at Old San Juan H-D at some point after a ride through a rain forest. Sometime on Friday.
Then onto St. Maarten, Antigua and St. Kitts. Back to NYC after that.

Dang never thought of a trike cruise, but then I'm not a huge fan of boats. You'll have to post up some pictures when you get a chance, sounds like your going to have a good time.

Bikerbozo,

Do you plan riding on all the Islands which you dock at? I never knew you could do that on a cruise. It is great to learn something new everyday!
Thank you very much for the info.
Have a great time and watch out for the Iguanas on the Islands.

Regards,

Just docking in San Juan, PR. Finally have internet again. We ride all islands except Labadee, Haiti.
Waiting for clearance to move the bikes into position to de-board. 31 bikes and my trike. one group from HOG in Quebec. Another club from MA.

Rain threatened but mostly held off. A ride day before from a different ship had to cancel it was so heavy. We had full police escort for the 40 miles we did in PR. Ship came in late. Ride shorter than planned. got hit with a little rain, but not bad. Stopped at a bar/grill (pictured) along northern PR. Note that the police let us go at a really good clip on most roads. This was the Governers special police. Off to St. Maarten tonight. I will be out of e-mail range when we leave dock in a couple of hours. Well worth it. I plan on doing this again. Maybe next year.

Docked back in NJ this morning. Rides on St. Maartin (guided by Caribbean Eagles M/C), Antigua and St. Kitts were great. pictures to follow as soon as I sort through the hundreds (at least) of them. perfect weather for all those rides.Great group of people. Most people on ship liked the bikes and trike and were filled with questions. We were treated like celebrities most of the time (we tended to dress the part, even at formal dinners. usually at least do-rag).
Note to Trike Talk powers that be. The president of ETA travel would really like to advertise on Trike Talk. He isn't interested in trading trips for ads. Just wants to know cost.
