i built mine from a car hitch.

I had removed the ball from mine, then purchased a 6" receiver tub from Northern Tool. Welded the tub where the ball was and done! Make sure the tub sits level as you may need to heat the hitch and bend it up slightly or add a shim. Otherwise your rack will hang lower at the back.
