Hello from Kansas

I am new to the trike world and wanting to connect with fellow "Trikers" (especially women riders). "Frank" is a 2002 HD Superglide with a Frankenstein Trike Kit. I lost all confidence to ride my 1985 FXRC after undergoing hip replacement surgery. We live on a very treacherous (at times) gravel road and I don't want to someday be found under my FXR alongside the road. My husband and his riding buddies also have difficulties with the road, but they seem to make it work for them.

Anyway, I am looking to connect with other Trike Riders and hopefully I can learn from all of you. I have ridden Frank once (he's in the shop getting the forward controls shortened to configure to my shorter legs) and it's a whole other world. (Worried)

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community.

Welcome from Ohio, Grace. Check this out. https://www.triketalk.com/forum/forums/324-Texas-Gathering

Not all that far from you & you can meet several members there, Paws & Lola are a couple of gals on the forum who show up there. We ride down from Ohio last 2 years & will again this year. Not a large group, maybe 15-20 trikes. Great fun & fun ride every day. Hope to see you there. Bill & Janiene
