So... a little closer to home now...

Some Walmart employee dweeb shot/killed a female Walmart employee in the parking lot late last night here in little old Kerrville, then ran off of course.

The gunman was apparently also an employee of the fancy movie theatre just down the road from me here on Bandera Hwy. He ran in there to hide...guess he had a key. He negotiated with the the cops for a while via phone - they had an all-day standoff when they finally went in with tear gas about 3pm. They found the guy with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, got him to the hospital but he didn’t survive.

They had Bandera Road shut down from Hwy 16 to Loop 534 all day long... I couldn’t get back home via my normal Bandera Road route. ...had to wind my way back to the house from the other side of the “mountain” off of Hwy 16. My stretch of Bandera Road was still shut down at 4:30pm...

This is becoming the norm...its why I carry...everywhere I legally can.
