cant upload pictures

I'm trying to make my first post but I followed the instructions to upload a pic and it won't work .After clicking on the insert button the first box that you say should pop up doesn't. the second popup box that you show comes up for me first so I cant click on that uploader program in the bottom rt of that box. I click on choose fiole and get my picture and then click upload and it takes about 30 seconds and the box disapears and no picture in the post.

Welcome to the Gang from Western Colorado. As far as pictures go, you are limited to 2 meg per picture ... try resizing them.
