New Rider

Hello everyone!

I had never ridden a motorcycle before, but the wife had ridden on the back of a Goldwing in the past. She wanted to experience that again. Due to many knee issues, I cannot support much weight. We have been seeing trikes, and we both thought that looked like a great way to have fun traveling, or just getting out for an evening.

We recently found a 2003 Honda Goldwing 1800, with a 2006 Lehman Monarch II conversion. It is beautiful with most any chrome you can add, and a hand painted eagle scene on the rear trunk lid. Went through the MSF 3 wheel course and have started getting used to riding, shifting, etc. and having a blast. Purchased it 21 days ago and have 800 miles on it already. Riding just to ride some days, and it feels refreshing to just get out on the road. Wife and I are loving it. The grandkids don’t want to stop going around the neighborhood either!

Looking forward to learning from everyone here.

Anthony

Welcome to the forums from Middle Georgia Anthony!

Our daughter lives in Warner Robins, so we will definitely be riding that direction someday to visit the family. I see us making that trip at least once or twice a year. Should be a lot of fun.

Son-in-law retired from the Air Force, and is still working the civil side at the base there. Our grandson is currently serving as well.
