Please could someone give me some advice , my friend has inherited a Yamaha xj700 trike 1984 off his late father . We have been commissioning it . We took it up the road today and it’s developing front wheel wobble on take off . We’ve emptied the forks and put new oils in , tightened everything up to specification but still wobbles . Darren....Welcome to Trike-Talk.......On the wobble.....Most are caused by either worn head bearing's ....Or not being tighten to 3 wheel specs ....Ie; Not two wheels specs which would be too loose.....

Darren welcome.

Tighten the bearing on the front triple trees stem to 40 pounds on the American scale. Then the tire pressure as suggested also American scale. Come back and let us know if that helped.
