Champion Manual Reverse

Do any of you guys and gals have the Champion manual reverse installed on your HD? The reason I ask is I'm noticing a lot of heat in the transmission. I'm sure some of this is from the exhaust being closer to the transmission end cap than before and its picking up some heat from the cat. The...

EZ Steer on a Road Glide (FLTR)

I'm having some problems on the EZ steer for my 11 Road Glide. Champion lists the EZ steer for 87 thru current FLH's and FLT's but the only one you can order justs says FLH. I've just installed it and I don't have enough front wheel swing (about 5 1/2" either side of center) to turn around on...

    Front tires

Ok, lets talk about front tires. I've typically used rear tires on the front of my trikes. With a long trip coming up I'm wondering if the Dunlop front tire supplied on my Road Glide trike will last. I haven't had much luck with the Dunlops on the front, usually worn out between 6 - 7k miles...

    First Ride

Got the Road Glide/Champion out last evening for a quick test ride. Still have the EZ Steer, the Fullsac "X" pipe, and Reverse to install. Riding it down to the painter's shop tomorrow so he can plan the paint to match the Screaming Eagle paint. I didn't install the tour pack as the body has...

    Pics of new trike build

Added 10 more pictures to my album on the trike build. OK, you guys asked for pictures. There are 3 up on my album. I've actually started back together, I did a gearing change from 32 to 30T front sprocket. I'm ready to install the kit swing arm, the third picture is the setup I used to...

    New Trike Build

Got the Champion IRS kit home this weekend. Started dismantling the 2011 Road Glide CVO and uncrating the kit. Garage is full of parts! I guess my evenings and week ends will be busy for a while:Pepper: Dwight

    ABS on HD trike?

I have a question for those of you who have done a conversion on an HD with ABS. Does your ABS light on the dash stay on when the ABS is disconnected? If it does what do you do to get rid of it? Do you get a check engine light?

Thanks
Dwight

    New Trike!

Bit the bullet today and committed to a new 11 Road Glide. Will be ordering a new Champion Trike (Independent Suspension) kit, hopefully next week. Looks like I will be able to use the front and rear pulleys, plus the belt, from the TriGlide. This will give me the same gearing as the 11...

    Cusion Drive?

Do the Triglides have the Cusion drive? I know most of the new HDs have it. Thanks Dwight

    2011 Triglide

Haven't posted for awhile. I have a question for you Triglide riders. I'm hearing that the 11 models have changed the front (engine) sprocket to a 30 tooth. Is this true? I made this change on my 07 CSC trike and it made a huge difference in performance. In my opinion this was the single...

    Our very own forum!!

    Thanks Nana!!

It's cool to have the new forum! I'm a long ways from being a Spyder RT-S expert but if you have questions I'd be happy to try to answer them. I rode yesterday so I'm up to the...

    RT-S Spyder

Nothing much going on here so thought I'd post up something to talk about. We just put down a deposit on a new RT-S Spyder. It's a touring version with pretty much all of the bells and whitsles. I've been looking for something a little sportier than the Honda Goldwing trike or the HD Ultra...

    CSC Daytona recall

Got a phone call from CSC yesterday regarding a recall on their Daytona model equiped with reverse. This is the model for the Harleys. Pretty significant amount of work involved. We just delivered a new one to a customer. I talked to him last night, he was pretty good about it, he can still ride...

    Re-geared CSC/Ultra

OK, so I got the motor sproket changed this weekend. Went from a 34 to a 30 (07 model). Man, what a change! No slipping the clutch or pinging on take off, 6th gear is now usable under 60 mph! 3000rpm = about 68mph in 6th. 3400rpm is 75mph. Don't know why but it even starts smoother, usta bang...
