CSC Daytona recall

Got a phone call from CSC yesterday regarding a recall on their Daytona model equiped with reverse. This is the model for the Harleys. Pretty significant amount of work involved. We just delivered a new one to a customer. I talked to him last night, he was pretty good about it, he can still ride it so he won't have to miss any of his planned rides. We're supposed to get the parts kit next week but with his schedule of rides we won't work on it until Sept. I was wondering if we got the first call or if other shops have been notified already. Anybody heard anything else?
Any details on the recall? There is a post on another forum about a Tri-Glide wanting to go into reverse when in a forward gear. Is this the same issue?

Hi, it has to be the electric one that CSC supplied. If it was the Champion up grade then Champion would be doing the recall. I have not heard of any issues with the Champion reverse. When someone hears what the issue is please post it. Ted

As I understand, CSC did not have any "RECALL" on their electric reverse units. There were a few units with bolts of incorrect strength.
Information sent out to those that may have had the incorrect strength bolts to have them taken to their installers for replacement with the correct strength bolts.

Don't want to say who I talked to at CSC but he told me to expect a shipment of parts that included the jack shaft, pulleys, bearings, belt, and an assortment of fasteners. They are having trouble with fasteners, among other things. They also have some non-hardened spacers that are wearing and causing problems. I'm not making this up guys, I'm the one that has to fix it. As soon as I get the parts kit I'll furnish more info.
