13 TriGlide reverse enable button engages reverse motor

I start my tri glide in neutral. I push the reverse enable button that has the light. The light comes on and also ENGAGES reverse motor!! It doesn’t disengage without turning bike off! Had the reverse motor built twice as I thought is was the problem but issue continues. I also put a new battery in it too. I need help! Thanks.

Take your switch half apart and clean the contacts of the switch with some contact cleaner, see if that helps

The reverse on my trike will automatically disengage if I engage the park brake or if I clutch and place the trike in gear.

Spray some silicone spray into the reverse button and work it . Could be stuck in the ingauge mode ..:Shrug:
