2009 TriGlide

Hello I am looking at a 2009 TriGlidefor sale and have 2 questions. Are the rake ratio the same as the newer ones and what do you think it would cost to put reverse in.

mechanical reverse 1300 bucks plus your time or someone elses.

Baker mechanical reverse is close to $1600 plus installation. Harley reverse on the '09 was a $1400 option. Never failed on my '09. Rake is the same '09 to current. Final drive ratio changed in '11 to a slightly lower gear. I'm very happy with our '09, wife rides the newer '11.

About the cat, California models came with catalytic converters in '09, the rest of the world got stuck with them in '10.

Yes this one has no cats. I checked into a Baker Reverse mainly because you still use the foot shifter and it is about $1900.00 plus install. I am going to a Harley Rally in Seaside NJ this weekend so I will wait to make a offer. I may see some thing down there. It also has a couple of deep scrathes that will need to be taken care of so I will consider that when I make the offer. Thanks for all of your feedback.
