2019 triglide dtc

I checked last week and had the code again. Cleared it then.

Just went out and checked again and it was back. Cleared it again.

Don't know the rhyme or reason. When I've tried to trigger it, no success...when I ride just normally, sometimes it shows up, sometimes not.

I am going to guess HD is having problems with the soft ware drivers for this NEW to Harley 2019 system

I am also betting the problem with the first M8 can bus systems errors for the oil sender is equal to the same type of problem

After 8 months, I just had my ECM-P0522 code come back. It is probably because I said I quit worrying about it,:D

I still have 6 weeks of warranty, so I think I'll let my dealer check it out.

Here is an update for my situation...I'm bringing my FW into the dealer next Sat. & they will check it out.

2019 dtc

I pick up my trike this morning. The test they did were sent to the harley tech and received, they have sent them to the engineering section to find a cure i guess. So i will ride till they come up with something. If anybody is throwing codes it should be taken in to get it on there radar most people will not know they never check the codes. Basically Harley doesn't know what is going on, I threw a code that they still don't what it is they said phantom code. All the codes that keep coming are historic codes, don't know when they originally came on probably at the factory.

Did a quick google search, "press in on the trigger/trip an hold. turn Ing to on. dia comes up in the mileage window, let off the trigger/trip switch, Than use it to cycle through the ECM,,,BCM,,,SPDO,,,ABS,,,RADIO..

OK, I also had codes:

ECM; N

BCM; Y CODE: 62206h & 62285h

SPDO; Y CODE: u0184h

ABS; N

RADIO; N

cleared the codes, to see if they come back. now to google the code numbers........

Thanks for the heads up.

You have a 2019 under full factory warranty... take it to the dealer that you got it from & have them check it for you.

It's in your owners manual, along with other good to know information.:)

I guess that page is missing in my book.

Yes, I'm going to call the dealer, I just try to investigate all the issues to better educate myself. When the warranty is up, its up to me to have the knowledge to fix-it. :Coffee:

I have the codes on file, they were cleared. Calling the dealer to find out what they are. Will keep checking to see if they reappear. I'm not used to the trike's 2019 electronics. My auto/truck experience is:, some codes will clear themselves after so many starts and or running temp cycles.

Edit: Update, Called HD service with the codes, "62206h & 62285h", (no clue what they are) he could not find them, because no letter leading the code #, the u0184,(was Lost communication to Radio) that I found in my search, and he confirmed. end result, he said clear and see if they return.

I ask if they were having any issues with the 2019's throwing codes and he said NO.

b2287

Has anybody with the 2019 had any codes come up. My trike has thrown b2285 and b2287 both historical more than once. It is in being checked out. Harley has no idea what b2287 is. Just wondering if any one else has thrown a code and what Harley did. It has something to do with the rear brake and the abs.

I have a b2287 code intermediate on my 2020 tri glide. According to the manual it is Front Brake state correlation. The diagnostics says high pressure sensor diagnostics. The dealership says it's the ABS EHCU. They are saying their having a problem ordering the EHCU. They never mentioned the high pressure sensor. I am taking it back Tuesday with a copy of the diagnostic procedures. They can reset the code and it will come back after 3 or 4 rides. I am tired of taking it back. It seems to run and operate fine.

b2287 code

According to my service manual b2287 is front brake state correlation. The solution is high pressure sensor diagnostics.

Description and operation

the high pressure sensor provides rear brake pressure information to the EHCU for operation of the ABS and TC. The EHCU provides a message across the can bus to activate the rear brake lamp.

I get b2285 all the time. Dealer checked it out and found nothing wrong. Battery good. If I keep it on battery tender I don't get the code. My opinion is it is a sensitive battery sensor. At the slightest drop in battery voltage it kicks out the code.

I have to concur. I get the same code on my 19 but as long as I use the battery tender I don't get the code. Dealer could find nothing also

Code b2287h

Well just picked up my 2020 tri glide from service. The following is what they did.

Harley Davidson Tech Services had the tech reflash the ECM, ABS Module, and Speedometer. The BCM was done as a module replacement. The Tech checked the front and rear brake pressure. The pressures were normal. The Tech road the bike for 100 miles. Code did not return.

Lets see what happens.

b2287h code update

Well wife and I went out for a ride today and guess what came back. Yep, b2287h. It came on twice while stopping at a red light. Back to the dealership today. I paid a lot of money for this trike and this should not be happening. Wish me luck.

Good on you to take it back. There is no good reason any DTC codes keep coming back, and I do not care what HD says. This is not acceptable IMO I check my 17 Freewheeler at lest once a month just because;)

2287

Well wish me luck. I'm going to the dealership tomorrow. What's weird is the first time the Tech looked at it back in early December and said his diagnostics said it was the EHCU. But Harley Davidson said this part was unavailable/restricted. This is unexcepatable on a 2020. I need to be firm with them. I am normally easy going but time is up. My wife is pissed and if she goes with me God help them.

codes

Good luck getting the codes fixed it took me two years to get it done. Replaced the bcm stopped the 2285 but not 2287. Then they finally hooked it to the computer and the harley tech flashed it again and removed the history codes. So far knock on wood they haven't returned that was last spring. They replace the abs system prior to that because i threw a u0001 and something else don't remember. But good luck they do have a fix. I had the factory tech down four different times.

Wow I hope that doesn't happen to me. I had a meeting with the leadership of the dealership this morning. The service advisor called Harley tech services again. They wanted to send a master tech down but could not because of covid. So they had me leave the bike. The master tech is going to conference call with the local techs to verify the part that's bad. Then they will overnight it. It looks like it will be the EHCU.
