what is "40, 41, 39"?

40mm is 1.5748" or just a hair over 1-9/16" at 1-9.1968/16 ths inch.

41mm is 1.61417" or nearly 1-5/8" at 1-9.8267/16 ths inch.

39mm is 1.53543" or just over 1-1/2" or more precisely 1-8.56688/16 ths inch ... actually pretty close to 1-17/32".

Question is are you asking about extension length ... or diameter of the fork tube? Also, whatever you use will need to have the same threads as the Honda fork tubes. When installing them, they will act like really tall fork caps, you will still follow Honda manual on adjustment in the triple trees so the front axle and bridge are not unduly stressed.
