Another New Guy

Hello everyone. My name is Rick and I'm from Florida. I was looking for a trike specific forum and after finding and lurking here for a bit, it looked like a great place and I wanted to join up. Thank you much for having me. A little about myself. I'm 59 and I've been riding two wheel motorcycles for just about my whole life (since 14). I'm still riding two of them (Harley Super Glide Custom and a Kawasaki Versys X-300 Adventure). But last month I ventured into a whole new world of reverse trikes by purchasing a 2020 Can Am Ryker Rally Edition.

I'm not ready to give up on my two wheelers, but after all these years, I was really just looking for a different riding experience. I definitely have found it, and I'm loving every minute of it, more so than I ever thought I would. I havent been out on either one of the two wheelers since purchasing this machine.

I still catch myself starting to put my feet down coming to a stop every once in a while, but its much better now than it was 3 weeks ago when I first got it. The Ryker doesnt have a handlebar brake, or a clutch lever either, so I also catch myself still trying to use them every once in a while, but again its not as bad as it was the first few days.

Anyway, I've learned that there are many more different versions of trikes out there than I ever imagined. So here I am with a lot to learn about the sport of three wheeling, and thats one of the reasons that I joined up with you all. I've been bitten by the bug and I can see myself a little later down the road, well you all know the story about that. Again, thanks for having me, and here's a few pics of the Ryker Rally.

Welcome to the forum from Western Pennsylvania crazy looking machine you have there. I worked last winter with a man who had two one and one for his wife. They previously had a Triglide but she wanted her own ride so that is what they did. :good: Ride safe Fred
