Anyone install an LED brake/running/turn signal light on the trunk?

Its a great looking ride. And yours is finished!

I was going to shamelessly steal the way you tied the fenders into the bike. Very sturdy to minimize vibration. But when I added the diameter needed to clear the tires I ended up with something that looked like those hats they wore in the "Flying Nun" TV show (old reference). Regardless, it was just too high and didn't look good in the mock up at all. (One of those learning things you mentioned ;)) So I am going for the swingarm/diffy attach rods at the front and then the caliper bracket at the back with an L shaped frame and less overall coverage for the tire. Looks cool and is functional.

Haha at flying nun! Sometimes it sux when you have to "pioneer" something... but in the end it is well worth it. If I can help you out, let me know. I tried several tire sizes out until I found the one I liked. I just didnt want the fenders higher than the trunk and I wanted the bike to look lowered.

Doc's HD is doing your work. I recognize the shop cause I got a tour from Tim, the service mgr.

Your lights look great.

yep.... I make/gather the parts and they install per the drawings/sketches I give them the complex stuff. I don't have a shop space any more and work consumes most free time. Hoops is the mechanic. He is great. I do bolt on things like footboards and covers and such. Plus the electrics and some of the mechanical needed to be done at the dealer to avoid warranty arguments.

DTC with LED

Replaced conventional headlight with led and got dtc, talked to "knowledgeable" HD mechanic who told me to just clear the code caused by computer getting low amperage draw signal. Now I put in led taillights and got code for taillight amperage. QUESTION? has anyone installed load equalizer on a "" Freewheeler ". Lots of video for older FL's with different wiring set up

Tucci, you do not need a load equalizer on Harleys using the CANBUS system.

I have posted threads on replacing my front turn signals with LEDs, as well as the rear turn signals. You clear the code once & it stays gone.
