HD parts/accessory site is down so I'm asking here. Are stock batteries AGM? Thanks

Yes, Batteries plus has AGM batteries for your trike also
I just 6 weeks back purchased a Duracell Ultra car battery for my wife's car at a great price online (25% off) and picked it up in the store. They installed it for free & they plug a power source into your diagnostic part to save all your settings. With the discount, it was $108 out the door & we got a $10 mail in rebate.
I am now a big Batteries + fan.

Not looking to replace my FW battery.
Just wondering what type battery Harley is using in their bikes/trikes, AGM or Lead Acid?

Advantages | Spill-proof through acid encapsulation in matting technology High specific power, low internal resistance, responsive to load Up to 5 times faster charge than with flooded technology Better cycle life than with flooded systems Water retention (oxygen and hydrogen combine to produce water) Vibration resistance due to sandwich construction Stands up well to cold temperature Less prone to sulfation if not regularly topping charged Has less electrolyte and lead than the flooded version |
Limitations | Higher manufacturing cost than flooded Sensitive to overcharging (AGM has tighter tolerances than gel) Capacity has gradual decline (gel has a performance dome) Low specific energy Must be stored in charged condition (less critical than flooded) |
Jack answered you in the 2nd post. If your asking a question, it's nice to listen to the answer.
I must have missed it. Sorry to offend. I am at your mercy and await appropriate punishment.
(Slowly backing out of room and hanging head in shame)
I was joking as indicated by the emojis. You didn't offend me at all.
I do think you should start an oil thread & ask Jack which engine oil he thinks is best. He LOVES oil threads! Don't forget about transmission & differential lubes also.
It's not just Jack, everyone loves oil threads.
I have been researching replacement batteries further & I have selected a new contender in the AGM category as I'm not considering lithium.
My top choice based on quality & value is the Yuasa GYZ32HL. It is very well constructed with 32ah, 500 CCA & I have found it for $128 with free shipping. These are also USA made.
Feel free to comment. The link below shows a cutaway view of the battery.
