Crosswind & Roadsmith

I don't have any good recommendation, the RoadSmith, as most trike conversions, is one big sail. In a strong crosswind my experience was to not panic, hang on and ride it out. It is a heavy machine, I've never heard of one blowing off the road. You can always pull over and wait unit the wind subsides but I realize that's not always possible.

Cross wind

Don’t know if ya had a bad experience with one , or are anticipating on having one

Personally I’ve never had a issue. 18 wheeler buffing has been worse , just be prepared.

Cross winds at times will affect any and all vehicles so there's no need to start taking parts off your Trike, As said before are you having problems or just anticipating problems.....

I feel the crosswind more when I am riding with my buddies and passing big trucks over 70mph 😳

I come from a lifetime of boating. When you're passing a big rig, think of it like a boat. There is turbulence at the rear (like a boat wake). Close to the side and middle of the rig there is generally quiet air that almost wants to pull you towards the rig. Then when you get to the front of the rig there is air being pushed sideways (like the bow wave of a boat). This is where you probably feel most uneasy. Anticipate it will be there. It is very short lived. I always accelerate and blast through that bow wave. Works for me. Good luck..... Jim
