drinking

Drinking is a choice, riding a motorcycle is a privilege. I don't want to see anyone forfeit their riding because of alcohol. I stopped drinking 33 years ago when I forgot to put my feet down at a red light. Yes alcohol was involved. Not only was that embarrassing it was down right stupid. Ride responsible, the life you save may be yours. JMHO

I did the same thing in 1982 on my Electra Glide. Thank God I had rails around my saddlebags and a crash bar up front. I was a young, dumb Sailor at the time. I gave up drinking and driving after I got a DUI six years later, okay I was a slow learner. I wouldn’t drink and drive now if I had to. My DUI almost cost me my military career. Don’t get me wrong, I still sip a whiskey every now and then, just not when I plan on driving anywhere.

Didn't Quit just don't have time

I believe I have had my share in the 70's. It has been said it takes 72 hours to get all the Alcohol out of your system if that is true I spent 20 years under the influence something I'm not real proud of looking back. I went to work everyday, paid my bills but had poor friends we didn't help each other much, health wise that is. Now I have or taste or time for any of it. Fred
