Engine Guard brand to install??

Wondering which engine guard to install, cheaper one or expensive one. I’m leaning to Biker Choice. They are reasonably priced. Which did you use, and opinions please.

The last guard I installed was on my 2007 Streetbob It was a HD model

IMO HD has always had better chrome than after market

You get what you pay for.Always pros and cons with aftermarket products.I put HD guards on mine because of the chrome quality and wanting to add lower fairings to make sure of the fit.

Personally, I didn't feel the need on the trike & went with Ciro highway peg mounts & love them.

I have the HD engine guard as well as highway pegs on my Freewheeler. I like the extra distance from the seat to the pegs on the guard. It is much more comfortable for my long legs.

Exactly what I did on my Freewheeler. HD engine guard and foot pegs mounted on the engine guard. As soon as I shift thru the gears my feet are on the pegs so I can stretch out my legs.

That setup would be perfect for my short legs, and it look like a comfortable leg position. I googled it and it’s kind of expensive for the setup or am I mistaken.

After mkt guard

Everyone I know who purchased them , ended up painting them after a couple of years if not sooner. HD chrome holds up.
