Filling up - really slow?

How is everyones experience refueling the stallion? I have to fill mine really slow to keep the pump from shutting off. Have to fill it with the nozzle completely out to get the last gallon into the tank.

most of them are that way. we just put up with it.

Any fix? Seems like it’s probably a vent issue, anyone removed the fuel tank/sending unit, have any pictures of the sending unit?

just a shot in the dark here sort of like kumquats to oranges… I had a Subaru first year Brat and I had the same problem filling the tank (Took forever) So one day I pulled the filler hose out and there was a one way flap in there. I think it’s in case of roll over so gas won’t come out. I just took the flap out and had no problems after that..

Our 2012 Triglide fills real well until the last half gallon or so, then the nozzle wants to kick off all the time. Keeps you from getting the tank completely full.

I can open the nozzle fully until about a half gallon before full. Easy to top off.
