This is my first long trip the day after Christmas. Going to pull Trike to Texarkana Tx. from illinois and park there to head south in Texas for 5-6 days. Where do you bikers park your car and trailer while you are gone.

You can check with local Harley dealers,some will let you park your truck and trailer there for free,just have to sign a waiver releasing them from being responsible for theft or damage to your property.And last time I checked the weather is pretty warm in Palm Harbor around Xmas.Enjoy your trip and be safe.

Like knees said, HD some Dealerships are the best bet.

Not saying anything is wrong with the Texarkana dealership, but I don't know about leaving your rig at it. Very easy access to the interstate and no open businesses around it to discourage vandals or thieves after they close.

But they do leave their own trailers parked beside the building. They may have better arrangements than I expect. You can get their number at TexarkanaHarley.com.

Sounds like a good plan - Have a great time. Before we moved to TN we where in N. Illinois. Wife and I bought a trailer to be able to get out of dodge in the winter. A lot better than putting the bike in storage and loosing 3-5 months of riding. Not everyone gets to tough it out in Florida...jc
