Flooding Along the Mississippi.

I was up in Alton yesterday and the flooding is overwhelming pretty much everything. I't the highest i have seen it since the 93 flood. They just had a levee break in St.Charles county and is going to affect many people out there. There was no point in going to Grafton because most of the tone is under water. Lots of good riding over there , but it may be some time before the Great River Road gets opened up again much less any of the business along the route. Very impressive what Mother Nature can do. Good luck to anyone who is be affected by this.

St Charles county is where West Alton is at. Down in that part the levees aren't near as tall or wide, they spend most of the levee money on the Mississippi side.

The levee broke over by highway 370 towards St.Peters. I think it's just a matter of time before West Alton gets wet.

Different Alton lol; had to google alton, MO to see what you were looking at....look at Alton, IL and West Alton, MO. Normally on the Mississippi, currently IN the Mississippi.

I get it now. I could have sworn someone said Alton Mo. But yeah, that area is good for flooding.
