I have a 1999 GL1500 that is VERY difficult to remove gas cap, on every fill up. Suggestions?
Is it hard to turn or is it not coming off once turned.
Use some grease on the thread / neck where they engage. Clean off any rust or burrs present. You can use a very fine grit wet or dry sandpaper.Very hard to turn

You could even try some wet or dry paper with a string for retrieval inserted between contact points and work cap back & forth a little, not a lot though as you want some resistance and you don't want a lot of grit in the fuel. Maybe, pump fuel out afterwards and put fresh clean in or strain it through a paint strainer.
