GPS issue - after repair

Hey everyone. New to the group here and looking for some expertise with a problem that I found on my trike.

I just had the transmission repair done at Honda of Shelby. Cleaning up the bike and resetting all of the stations and settings

when I realized that the GPS is not picking up my location. It still shows the dealer location on the map and when I go to the

satellite settings, there are no numbers there ( I guess meaning that there is no signal).

I am hoping that it is a GPS antenna that is not plugged in or something simple like that. I really hate to go get my buddies trailer

again and go all the way back up there and waste another day and half, if I can fix it quickly. I have taken the seat off and do not

see anything unplugged.

Can someone please help me out on maybe the location of the GPS antenna or something else? I sure appreciate it.

Thank You. I will check it out.

I will add that I did call the mechanic and told him about the issue. He said that there is a connector under the seat at the

frame brace. I am assuming that may just be an actual antenna, which is plugged up. What is the part up front?

I am not sure if he would have disturbed anything up front or not. He did have the motor completely out, but still, I am not sure.

Hi Marty, Welcome to Trike Talk

Maybe have the tech take a look at his work? As much as this problem sucks it should always be about customer satisfaction. Best of luck to you

Yeah, I agree. It looks like it will be going back to him. I looked everywhere for a loose connector and found nothing.

Seems like all of that would have been tested before the customer picked the bike up.

Maybe give them a call. Explain the situation and if they have any suggestions for a place to look. Might save an unessary trip?

Did you try turning it off and on ? Maybe even discounting the power plug. that should do a reset.

Apple to Oranges here........But sometimes my radio and the info screen [Ride command on the Slingshot] would freeze on and even the back-up camera would not turn on....I just pull the radio fuse pop it right back in and everything works again..
