Haters gonna Hate

Welcome aboard, Cheb and enjoy the ride! That negative comment came from an idiot. Don't let it spoil your fun. I have had a few but have had FAR more positives. Just yesterday, wifey & I were stopped at a bakery and 2 different people came up and asked about the trike. Today at a gas stop a guy with a two wheeler asked about how my trike is to ride. We talked for a good 10 minutes, his knees are starting to bother and he will retire soon and wants to tour long distance with his wife as a passenger. I was happy to answer all their questions. These times more than make up for the a-hole comments of an idiot!

not smart

Not a smart thing to do...yell at someone on a trike....you might get shot.
Grrrr ...

First time out with the new trike and my beloved when some uneducated, redneck, hillbilly, 30-something kid in Aberdeen, WA driving a white POS yells at us that "If you can't ride two-wheels safely you should not be riding at all." Eff'n hater. My lady did give him the quick one finger salute.

Not a good experience for my wife and I on our first 130 mile trikein' road trip. Hope it does not impact her desire to go riding with me anymore. I can let that s#!t roll off my back, but ... Grrrr!!!:mad:

Have any of you experienced of this kind of prejudiced discrimination just 'cause you ride a trike?

Cheb

Charles! You snuck in on us! Glad you found TrikeTalk and WELCOME.

Come on down to Kerrville the first week of October for our gathering. We ride, eat, and kick tires. Lots of fun.

Good morning cheb, yes I have had almost the same thing happen to me , in 2009 , :Coffee:My story goes like this ---

My brother in law from Fl. came to visit us in Ma. with his Goldwing trike . I had my Stallion for a couple of months now & was really loving it , and I still do . We took a ride to the beaches [Salisbury , Ma. , Hampton, N.H.] brother in law Jay , good friend Bub, and me . Bub rode a 650 scooter .

Off we go having a great ride , we pulled in to a parking lot some where in N.H. to talk we this car full of young people came by YELLING YOU THREE WHEELED SISSIES.

Well we all just kept talking & let them go by . It was a great ride ,we all had fun , yes it catches you off guard for a moment , I think maybe they wanted to drive my stallion , lol :Coffee: Enjoy your ride cheb, be safe , you will be laughing at this incident from now on .

Update my friend Bub now rides a can -am spyder , he joined the three wheeled sissies , lol :clapping:
