Air bag replacement

Have 2003 Goldwing Motortrike. Am second owner now for about a year. Lots of info here. Have replaced air bags with airbagit 800# recently and trying different psi to be comfortable.

Well have settled on rear tire pressure of 25.5 psi and air bags at 18psi. Give best ride. If rear tires are less than 23 psi, get a wobbly sensation if hitting a bump in road on one side. Tires are now more firm. These are cold psi's. When riding, tires will go up to about 26.5 psi and air bag will rise to about 19 psi. Also airbag on left rear was so close to tire rim, I used a metal rasp in a drill and egg shaped the upper hole about 3/8". Then slid top of air bag over to get more space. I put a filler piece of scrap metal in the hole opening to prevent bag from moving back toward tire. Upper nut of air bag will keep the scrap piece of metal in place. I got 1/8" tee and added a small air gauge in trunk. Mounted it to side with velcro to monitor air bag psi.
