Improving Roadsmith Handling

My new Roadsmith/Wing trike felt very tippy in the turns, especially on LEFT turns. I didn’t feel safe riding at the posted speed limit. My installer at UNB Customs adjusted the shocks and all is well. With the initial softness taken out of the shocks, the handling is much more pleasant and predictable. I can get along just fine now. Great work UNB!

PS This post should have two pictures. Can you see them? I tried to upload them from my iPad.

I used to have the same feeling on my '97 trike. I had the heavy duty sway bar installed. 5/8" to 1", and it solved the problem. The installer never made any suggestions about adjusting the shocks or even the sway bar. I just took a shot and hoped it worked and it did.
