I needed a replacement tail light lens for my panhead. I was heartbroken when I opened the box and the lens said "Made in Japan" on it.

I would not be too upset the lens was made in Japan. Japan's quality control is a heck of a lot better than China.

I dunno how many of y'all remember Eagle Iron parts sold by Harley

These parts were made in Taiwan and not bad parts, a lot cheaper than OEM H D parts

Why the chinese and jap parts. UNIONS. Thats right, if I can make my stuff elsewhere without meeting union demands, I will have the chinese and japs, mexicans making the stuff, and sell it right back to us at a US price and haul in billions$$$. Tax the wealthiest, go ahead, they don't pay as much in taxes but us consumers do. Keep getting walletts out.
