Cheers from Fort Mac, Alberta, Canada. New to me 2018 Freewheeler. Upgrades done so far, Hopenell (sp) Fairing with stereo (installed by previous owner). Upgraded the seat from an electra Gide, added backrest for the lovely wife, installed engine guards and lower fairings (not shown in the photo).

This is my 3rd trike , first one was a 70's VW trike conversion with a girder front end, terrible handling bike but that was back in the 1980's when highway speeds were much lower. The next was a 2012 Harley Switchback, which I converted to a trike with the Frankenstein trike kit for softails, worked great, but the gearing was to high and had to keep out of 6th gear which really sucked down the fuel milage. This Freewheeler is great, feels like I'm riding my old Streetglide in a lot of ways.

After 2 shoulder surgeries, I had to give up on the large tourers. I did manage take a tri glide out for a test ride, though it was good, it felt like driving a tank down the highway, as soon as I took the freewheeler out for a ride, I knew that this was the right bike for me. Unfortunately, I didn't get much riding in last summer but certainly going to spend a lot of time in the wind this year ( once it warms up ). Hope to see you out on the road, ride safe. Cheers

Hi Peter

And welcome .... I am fairly new to trikes also .. maybe 3 years now. A few years back (on two wheels) we went thru Alberta and even caught some of the Rodeo action in Calgary .. That was a crazy city at that time !! But Beautiful riding up there

Take care and welcome
