New Member from Oklahoma

Hey there everybody! I've been lurking for several months and will most likely continue to lurk for awhile. Names Todd but I go by Sweeney (as in Sweeney Todd and no, I'm not a barber :D). Back in the early 80's I rode a little Yamaha Enduro but haven't been on a bike since then. I'm a middle aged guy and before my days are done I will be riding a Harley but the problem is, I'm only 5ft with a very short inseam. Can't ride a standard size bike (even a lowered sportster) as my feet don't touch the ground so I will be getting a trike, hopefully sooner than later and definitely before this time next year. I'm looking at trying to find a Sportster 1200 that's been been converted (don't want training wheels), converting one myself or a Freewheeler. Regardless of what I get, I will have to do some pretty serious customizing due to my size. A reduced reach seat, reduced reach handlebars, pedals, etc etc will be required. It's going to be quite the undertaking trying to get me on a bike that fits, but come heck or high-water, I'm gonna do it. Life is too short (no pun intended) to sit around and complain about what you don't have or haven't done, just get out and git'r done!

CYA!

welcome aboard Todd sounds like a Sportster 1200 would be right up you alley. There are several conversions for the Sportster out there so you should be able to find one. Good Luck and ride safe.
