Rich, welcome aboard from another San Antonio resident. When I started riding my 2015 Freewheeler I was shocked how many different kits are available to convert a motorcycle. It is overwhelming, but I agree the best thing you can do is call Randy at Cut & Shoot, right here in Texas. A bad installer will turn the best kit into a nightmare trike.

I hope to meet you and your wife someday soon.

Welcome to trike talk from MSP, Minnesota. We switched to a Triglide after my wife had her second knee replacement. Much easier for her to get on and off the trike. We've done 3 long road trips since and love the journey.
