Prowler RT ( Reverse Trike ) for 2004 Honda GL1800 Reviews

After having my 2004 honda with the Prowler RT kit and riding for a week or so, these are my conclusions.

Yes it has a very interesting front shape. When I first saw the Canam Spyders, I also thought they were strange compared to the NORM. LOL. I also thought the Canam Spyder F3T's were strange since I am use to all covered up machines with Tupperware.

Many people say the Prowler RT is ugly. Everyone to their own opinion. I think it is cool looking. I like things that are different than everyone elses. I believe they kept in sort of on the flat top side so it wouldn't take away from the front of the Wing, which looks very nice. As far as steering goes, it DOES require some elbo grease. Someone mentioned the 30 degree possible radius and they are about right. The only real problem I get is if I try to make a U-turn in a narrow street. Yes, the Canam was easy turing especially with the power steering. When you drive the Wing with the Prolwer kit it feel like you are driving a tank. Not a problem. It's different and that is why I bought it. I have already had every other kind of bike. 4 Goldwings , 1 Goldwing Trike and 4 Canam Spyders. Variety is the spice of life for me.

My particular bike came with a 28 inch Slipstreamer Windshield. I have to see through it and not over it because it is soooo high. Does anyone out there also have to see through the windshield and if so has it caused a problem ? It definitely blocks the wind. Maybe when it's raining or if the windshield is dirty, of course.

ThumbUp----ThumbUp........About the high windshield....I have it break at the bridge of my nose, I don't like looking through a windshield...And in the rain you can't see through it...

Gordon thank you for your review. I really like the color on your wing. It makes the front look not quite so boxy. Hope you het to enjoy it for a long time.

Thank you for the nice comment Pegasus. I really enjoy it and take it out every week even in the winter. No rain or snow rides. LOL
