Rear shock adjustment

Hello everyone. I have a 2023 Freewheeler and I am 300lbs. I'm wondering what my setting would be to obtain the smoothest ride possible(no rider). Thx all! Stay safe!

Chuck’ I can suggest a setting, but you have to remember one size doesn’t fit all and you have to do a lot of trial and error…. I don’t think there’s a sweet spot on those adjustments. I know I never found it! I think all those numbers in the manual are just to keep you occupied and make you feel like you accomplish something!!..

They have Shocks ? What year did they start that? :laugh:

I'm 172 and leave it on Zero. If I'm riding someone I'll bump it up to ten. Frankly, I've never noticed any difference. Rear tire pressure, now that's another story.

Harley added them in a few years ago for the placebo effect……..

The Mrs. and I are around 300 lbs total and we have the shocks set on 8, that seems to be the spot for us, still experimenting though.

When I had the stock shocks on my 2020 I always ran them way softer than the table in the manual suggested. Close to zero riding solo as I recall. I changed to pro action 14" a few years ago and haven't looked back.
