rear shock

I was trying to wire in running lights on my vn900c and notice that the rear shock was at the top peg? it does ride stiff and was wondering if thier is a reason for this before I try to adjust it? thank you in advance Lucky

Having purchased it used, the previous owner may have adjusted it to maximum pre-load. Your trike should also have an airbag mounted between the rear axle and the body too. The air valve is located under the seat and should be set at 20 psi (hand pump only). For the coil-over-shock I suggest the middle setting (there are 5 settings I think) and try it there, if it is still too harsh, put it in the lowest setting. It is easier to do this if the back wheels are suspended too.

that is what i thought . but was wondering about the exchaust. if that was the reason .but it should flex a little ?:Coffee:

If the exhaust was changed after the conversion by the previous owner, it could interfere but that would be noticeable when you ride the trike also.
