Roadsmith Releases Striking New Gold Wing Trike

Happen to visit the RS site last night and saw this. I think it mostly looks really good but there are a couple of places I don't like. Overall a good job. I have the HT1800 and other than style change it appears the mechanics are the same; a good thing. IMO, looks better with the two tone paint scheme.

I like it with the slope in the rear end. I would like to see how it looks from the behind. I might have considered this kit for my 2012, as I thought the old kit looked more boxy.

Ya know what bothered me more than the boxy look? It was the fact that the top of the Roadsmith trunk looked like is was missing something. Just a large flat surface that seemed to be designed for some kind of accessory. It looked,,, empty, lol.

So I began to casually look for some kind of add-on. Then I came across Tony's Trike's site and in his inventory, he had a few Roadsmith trikes with an additional LED spoiler mounted on the RS trunk. It looked Great as if it was meant for that location! So,,, I ordered one from Tony, installed it and I'm very pleased with the looks and above all, more lights in the back.

Now with all that said, if I had a 2012 Wing and was going to choose a RS unit today, I would also go for the new design!
