shakes

my trike shakes when taking off in first gear. changed tranny, clutch, cvc, just put solid mount on tranny, any ideas as to cause

thinking possible suspension issue changing bushings for torsion and swingarm next, trying to post pic haven't figured it out yet

Is the shaking more of a hesitation-or does the fromt end wobble when you take off? Also, curious as to if it has a rake, and when the front tire was last replaced and/or balanced?

it is raked and definitely a shake sometimes it kicks out of gear trike is white 1 in my album trying to upload pic on forum but don't know how

Double check the tightness of all your connections, re torque them, had a similar problem with a clutch job on a car and it was a mount that did not get tight.

geannie was in trucking for 28 years have had this problems on big trucks when put under pressure, most of the time it would be flywheel needed to be resurfaced or replaced.Sounds serious, and already mentioned make sure its tight

How loose is the nut holding the springer front end. I would elevate the front a few inches, and torque it to where it has only a small amount of fall away (when you crank the front end left or right, all the way-and release it it barely moves to the middle or less!) If you look at my posts, you will come across one called "Brain Damage", it is a trike I built with a 40 inch over stock springer. Before I torqued the nut down it would shake and wobble. Just an idea.

You say it pops out of 1st gear when moving, either your shifter is out of adjustment or the syngonizer in the trannie for 1st gear is hot and needs replacing.
