What is the most comfortable Solo saddle for a HD Sportster Trike ?

My arse (n.b. British spelling !) goes numb after 70 miles . . .

:AGGHH:

I was just thinking the same thing... I sat on my buddies Sporty trike with stock seat.. and my butt said no way! Let me know what you end up with I need to pass on that info post haste!!!!

I have been on track bike that the seat was more comfy that that sporty stock seat.. and that's saying something.

Thanks ThumbUp

I've tried many different seats over the years. The most comfortable seat I have found is the Mustang Super Solo I have on my RK. Got 25K on it now and love it! None of HD's seat's work for me. The seat pan is not strong enough to support any mods that anyone does to it. I had Mean City redo the stock seat on my 08 Ultra Classic. It didn't help a bit, just felt harder! I did do as they suggested and give it time to breakin. still didn't work. They told me to send it back, but after figuring in the cost of shipping the thing back and forth, I gave up and bought a mustang.

Unlike most of the Other Member's Posts above, I really like Very Firm Seats on Motorcycles, and have generally been very fond of CORBINS having had them on Harleys, Other Cruisers, and even Sport Bikes I've owned in the past. Since I typically tend to do longer rides consisting of several hundred miles in a day(s), I find the firmer seats tend to keep my weight distributed across the full seat width. Softer seats seem to start establishing pressure points as the seat gets warmer/softer all day. CORBINS have to be ridden between 1200 and 2500 miles to fully "pocket" to Your anatomy....just "another opinion".....ThumbUp ;)

We all know Corbin makes a great seat... And it's not the that firm seat aren't a good thing either... the stock sporty seat... Just sucks in my opinion.

Between the riding position the seat it's self and 300 miles trips for breakfast I couldn't do it on a sporty trike... It was a blast around the parking lot..but after 5 minutes... the fun and my buns had wore off. :D

I had a Mustang solo seat with the detachable backrest on my Sportster Trike. Very comfortable on long rides and very short break in period for me. Loved it, loved it, loved it! Boy I miss that trike!

This little cutie is in Nashville. But my big rear would not like that little seat. I think only a 95 pounder could ride that. But its soooo cute.

I know we are talking about seats in the post.. but that thing reminds me of a 1972 Gremlin from the back!

Good friend of mine rides a sporty. He also runs a Mustang. He swears by it. I've ridden with him a couple times on 300 mile trips and he's just as comfortable at the end of the ride getting of his Mustang Solo as I am getting off of my Russell Day Long.

I found a new seat on Craigslist.... figured for the price it was worth a try and I am pleasantly surprised. It is a Danny Grey (Gray?) "Butt Crack"

Almost worth the price just for the name!
