I have pulled a Subaru EJ25 and all the wiring and ecu, fuse and replay panels, from a 2004 50K Forester that the car was damaged, but engine & drivetrain in excellent condition, they showed me before engine was pulled.
All engine numbers were noted before engine was pulled.
They started engine, and ran it for a couple of minutes.
Now my question is at 165h.p. and 165 Ft lbs torque, NA, and as light as this trike will be,
I want to keep this short, but with that kind of power, I am thinking that, keeping the front end on the ground will be tough.
I am going to try to put as much weight forward and low as possible.
I would like to use a pancake flat fuel tank to go under the floor as far forward as possible like starting right behind the front wheel, a 8.5 gal. tank, it is approx 3" deep and will be take up the whole floor area.
They are plastic tanks and are fairly light weight an very low profile.
I would also like the battery way up front to.
They do make some powerful and light weight batteries, now a days.
Anything else that can be done to move the weight forward.
I think, Engine will remain a rear engine.
Although i do have a 914 trans that is Completely rebuilt, in a 74' 914 that the Subie 2.5L engine is currently in.
The 914 weighs 1900-Lbs, but a trike would be Much less, also thought maybe a fiberglass dunebuggy for this engine.
