SuperShox 1st impressions

I just picked up my 2022 Tri-Glide from the dealer who installed my 14.5" SuperShox. I rode 15+ miles home from the dealership on the worse roads I could find, actually all roads here in my area suck. My 1st impressions are that the SuperShox can't even be compared to OEM. Those same roads on the OEM shocks would have be rock side-to-side like a freaking pinball machine, not I barely notice the bumps. As far as the ease of steering, yes there is a difference but not that dramatic. Honestly the steering never bothered me even with the OEM. I'm leaving in 2.5 weeks for a 4K mile road trip that'll be the true test.

Nice looking trike Anthony. I went with 14” suspension technology shocks and had the same results, but I was coming from OEM air shocks. Wait until you add taller bars. Then you will appreciate the poor steering with stock bars.

Have a good trip!

Yeah, I'm still deliberating on what bars to get. I'm a smaller guy (5'7"), thus 10" would be my limit.

I am about 5'8" and I went with the Khrome Werks 2+2 narrow sweepers. They install without any additional hardware or cable mods. One of the best investments made to the trike.

Do they come in black?

They do not come in black. I wanted black too and went with their 300813 bars. They are wider than the 2+2 narrow sweepers but were perfect for me, 6’2”. Spend some time on Krome Werks website. They have a lot of dimensions for their bars. If you have questions they are fast to respond.

My only problem with the install was the holes were too small but a dremmel fixed that.

Excellent choice of shocks, you must also have the exhaust extension pipe that Super Shox insist be used with there 14.5" shocks which are a great idea. A toolless design for preload adjustment with the Super Shox makes sense on the trikes. Also if your shocks were mounted upside down it allows for much easier access to adjust the preload without having to remove the rear wheels.
