I'm planning my first long ride on my Trike. When you travel do you use a weather app? to let you know if you are riding into bad weather?

The sky ahead tells all !
Elaine, I just check Intellicast's radar on their website every so often when I am stopped. You can fine tune it down to a radar near wherever you may be. And like Frank said, "The sky ahead tells all."

If you've read any of Kevin's ride reports (he does lots of 10K rides. you'll notice that the sky is all the weather indicator you need, that and some common sense. When it looks like rain, put on your rain suit. when it's sunny, take it off. When it's cold, turn on your electrics, if it warms up, turn them off.
Not being a smart a$$ ... just my $0.02
I use WWW//. Weather Rock.Com.Bob........So far its been dead on compared to the weather heads that are on TV......
Thanks!
