Turn Signals

I have an '05 goldwing w/ csc kit, prchased 500 miles ago. Trying to figure out the turn signals; sometimes they stay on while making a turn and other times they go off before I get to the corner. some trick i am missing??
Nature of the Gold Wing Beast,,,, It operates off an auto cancel unit that is driven by distance. Which isn't too very far. You will have to reengage it up to two or three times for a 1/4 mile before a turn.

good deal -- was thinking it was my thumb! thanx -- does seem kinda goofy way to set it up

Normally, if moving, once engaged they will turn off after 10-12 blinks or until you turn - whichever is first. If you don't turn, you'll have to re-engage until you do turn. If you are stopped (like at a signal lite) they will continue until you turn and then will self-cancel.

aha!! I guess that's so you don't leave them on after lane changes?? But it seems to be pretty quick design feature to turn them off -- I signal turns for longer than they stay on -- kinda of a pain, and i'm trying to concentrate on other things than to see if my turn signals are still on
