Weapons for Ukrainians

​A couple days ago I heard Fox news report that the Ukrainian government was supplying 10,000 rifles to their able bodied men. Have to give the Ukrainian men credit for voluntarily defending their country. These untrained men are going against soldiers that ARE trained and equipped. Do these newly armed men understand "fire discipline", how (and when) to maneuver as they're going against an enemy that has tanks, rockets, artillery, etc.

I hope the Ukrainian men can eck out a win in this war. But Putin is goofy enough that if he senses he's losing what would stop him from using even a low yield atomic weapon?

We really can't blame bIDEN for allowing this war to start as bIDEN MUST be having trouble breathing.......since he was born with his head up his ass. (It would likely be better if bIDEN kept the U.S. out of this one as everything else bIDEN has touched has turned to sh^%.)

Hey…. Charlie did pretty good with farmers by day soldiers by night…The first VC we Captured/stumbled on live all he had was an AK 8 rounds of ammo a plastic bag of rice inside his shirt hanging from his neck … I don’t think he was more than 14 years old and the only reason why he had a 8 rounds of ammunition left was because he was so shellshocked from the artillery barrage we dropped on his position… He couldn’t even lift his rifle otherwise he would’ve emptied those seven rounds and try to zap us..

As of this morning, it looks like the Ukrainians are holding their own. Most of the rest of the world are with them. Even Germany is now assisting them with weapons. Putin has a lot more unused firepower at his disposal but may be hesitant to use it for fear of the backlash from the rest of the world. I think he thought he could just tip-toe into the Ukraine and they would roll over with a whimper. I believe this will ultimately end badly for Putin. Just hope it ends before too many are harmed and lost..... Jim

I just now read that Zelensky just made an official application to join the European Union. Approval could happen quickly. Putin could be boxing himself into a no-win situation..... Jim

Independent of all other concerns, representatives of key constituent members have voiced rejection of the prospect, citing cost as reason.
