Just been lurking mostly. Took the Harley in to Conroe Friday morning. He was going get started Friday, but this weekend was the Lonestar Rally so he was off to Galveston to drum up some sales. It will be ready this week sometime for sure. I have my trailer hooked up and ready to go. Decided to trailer it home (about 60 miles) so I can do the maiden voyage on my own terms. He really liked the wheels and tires I chose and commented on how light they were (Weld Draglites). He's a one-man shop that started as a hobby (sound familiar?), and says business has been pretty good. He picked up a total of 5 Frankenstein rear ends when he went up to get mine. Says we all showed up within a few days of each other.

Anxious to see your platform - I'm not a welder but would like to put together something too - with a winch. I'm not getting any younger either...
