Did some modification to one to make it fit the Freewheeler with hopes of reducing a bit of the updraft. Seems to have made a very slight difference not as much as had hoped.

Thanks for posting this info. The updraft i get on my FW comes up the sides of the fuel tank. If i take my arm and hold it across my chest i can block it.Ask and you shall receive;

Drilled new holes to match bolt pattern, used 1/4" longer bolts and used 1/4" spacers so that it would clear the braked lines. Like I stated earlier made a very slight difference that I could notice. Worth doing? Probably not but wanted to try to see if it would help with the updraft. Hopefully JES is working on the fork mounted wind deflectors.
Red,
That's exactly what I get also, for under $50.00 and a little of my time I was hoping that this may help but nope didn't work. Fork mounted wind deflectors may work once somebody puts some on the market that'll fit the FW.Thanks for posting this info. The updraft i get on my FW comes up the sides of the fuel tank.
