The new system is a direct bolt on with no cutting or welding required. It utilizes a new muffler, custom bent pipe, an additional rubber mounted frame hanger on the left side frame matching the same location as the right side hanger. We use premium all Stainless Steel double-square shaped exhaust tips with aluminized reducer and pipe. The sound is a big improvement and about the same sound level as stock, but the exhaust note is much deeper and sounds great. If you want a quieter exhaust note, we have a system that looks the same but with a quieter muffler. The look and sound gets a LOT of positive comments and adds a lot of class to the trike.

If you are interested in a set they are $399 for any Trike Talk member. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Paypal. There is a $50 flat rate shipping fee anywhere in the lower 48 states and no tax charged.

PM me for more info.

Yes Steve they come standard. Look at the top picture in my last post and you can see it. It plugs in straight up vertically into a hidden receiver. When you take it off you dont see any of the trailer hitch. This thing has some really good engineering. I have some good detailed photos of the entire underside I will post when I have time.

That is awesome! Do you think another set could be made and shipped? You got my attention on this when you said you were in progress of the mod. The deeper sound is what I want being quieter would be an add bonus (since I have a hard time with my heavy foot. LOL).

It look great! JOB well done.

Re: Stallion Dual Exhaust Upgrade

That is too cool! I love the way it looks.

Are you planning on recycling the duel tips from the bikes you modify? If you put two together you should be able to make a set of round duel exhausts. I like the square better, but it would be a waste to just toss the round stock ones. On second thought, you can just stock them and sell them to someone down the road who's muffler rusts out (in about 10 years!), I hope you have a big storage yard!

Re: Stalion Dual Exhaust Upgrade

Mattell,

I dont have plans to recycle the old exhaust systems. The tips on them would have to be cut off and re-welded and wouldn't be cost effective.

PM me if your interested in a set for your Stallion or:

(please type "Stallion Exhaust" in the subject line)

'Morning Zook,

I know little about Stallions and cannot comment on the mechanics of this, but I do know what I like to look at. And your new system is fine looking! Very nice:).

Re: Stalion Dual Exhaust Upgrade

Morning Nana. Jeff nailed it on the rear end styling....its my favorite part of the trike. The exhaust upgrade improves the look and sound IMHO. Its like changing the pipes on your Harley but you'll be able to do it on the Stallion for about half the price of a good Harley exhaust system. We are fabricating our new improved system today and I`ll try to post some pictures.

Morning Nana. Jeff nailed it on the rear end styling....its my favorite part of the trike except for the exhaust look & sound. Not saying its all that bad, I just like what I like and I think the look and sound could be improved upon. Kinda like changing the pipes on your Harley but youll be able to do it on the Stallion for about half the price of a good Harley exhaust system. We are fabricating our new improved system today and I`ll try to post some pictures of the different style tips available and the new muffler we are using. We will have two different mufflers available, a quieter system and the one I have on my Stallion which is in the same DB range as stock but a deeper sound.

Speaking of HD pipes... in your experience, are there any that work with the Champion kit that would give me that good old Harley rumble again? The Bassani mufflers that came with the kit from Champion are not too bad, but I really miss the sound of my V&H that I had for years on the Fat Boy with two wheels. Not straights, but a good, deep and "rumbly" sound. (I know the GW riders look for the quiet ones, but I guess they'll just have to love me anyway :D)

Re: Stalion Dual Exhaust Upgrade

Lookin' good! Like to see people putting thought and solid engineering into trikes to make them thier own.

I haven't really looked too much, is there a lot of aftermarket parts for the Stallion? There is obviously some, as you are doing, and I bet it will grow as more hit the road.

Again, good work!

Thanks Ozarkryder. There is so much that can be done with the Stallion. I think your going to see a lot of interesting mods coming out. Ive got a lot of ideas myself.
