MPA Vibration

Had a Michellin MPA put on my GL1800 Hannigan this morning.Mounted in reverse.
Y'all were right - ride and handling (and steering) immediately improved over the Metzler that was there when I bought the trike.
OK now the problem- there is a quite strong buzzzzz(vibration) between 25 and 35 miles per hour. I can feel it in the handlebars and it is the same when accelerating or decelerating and with clutch in or out. If I gently depress the front brake I can feel it in the brake lever too.
Has anybody had this problem and if so, what did you do about it?
I've only put 100 miles or so on the tire - maybe the buzzzz will just go away?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I imagine some of the MPA users will chime in here soon but I believe that is the "Buzz" most MPA tires have when used on trikes. Can't imagine you haven't seen it mentioned many times...

Mine never made a noice but do what our friends above suggested, balance it. I have yet to find a tire that is perfectly balanced. By the way, I mounted mine in the proper rotational direction and did not get the buzz. Good luck....

I am curious as to if you have weights or balance beads? If beads, you may have a vibration up to around 25 or so with Dyna Beads.I have a "buzzing" sound on occasion but I think it is my beads.
Good luck,
Tip

put on a set of centermatics on your front wheel. i did and have no more problems with balancing my front wheel. and 10000 miles with no cupping.tire is real smooth.ThumbUp

Deadeye, I have had 3 MPAs on two different trikes, all mounted in reverse and all three caused a "buzz" between 25-35 mph. Some were balanced with weights and some with dyna beads. Didn't matter. Overtime, either I got used to it or it disappeared, not really sure which. I got in excess of 20k miles on each one, but they all cupped to some degree.
Fyi, I'm currently trying a Bridgestone 45 with dyna beads. No "buzz" for the first 5k miles. I have also installed the Tireguard TPMS system and no cupping so far. If the mileage equals that of the MPA, I'll be a Bridgestone 45 fan going forward.

Thanks all for your thoughts. The tire is balanced with no dyna beads. I have put on another 150 miles or so and the buzz is still there. I may just have to learn to enjoy it but I want to make sure it won't be a problem as I'm leaving by myself to Alaska in about 3 weeks.
Thanks again,
Deadeye

Me too. I also put nitrogen in all three tires. Definitely have a softer ride and nitrogey has larger molecules than air and supposedly makes the tire ride cooler.

You are aware that air is already 78% Nitrogen, I assume? My assumption has always been that as I lose air through the permeable rubber sidewalls, it is the smaller molecules that are lost and that by replacing that loss with 78% Nitrogen air, I am constantly increasing my Nitrogen percentage. It will never reach 100%, but since my project is free, it seems close enough. I'm more than willing to hear from a more learned source if my theories are incorrect.
