I forgot to add something like "all of the above"!

So I guess the question ought to be interpreted as what do you primarily listen to while riding. ;)

Actually I listen to the Radio if I am alone. If I have Honey on the back we never turn on the radio we usually talk to each other. A guy a long time ago asked what we talk about. I said I don't know but we talked on our cross country trip to Texas. His comment is if he had to sit alone with his wife for more than 20 miles he would go insane.

My wife and I talk the whole time. ;)

She says sweet things to me like, "turn here!", "stop there!" and "I'll be right back".

Mostly I just respond with "yes dear" while I turn up the music a little louder.

Since Miles doesn't talk I have my Sirius radio on, or if I'm in a thinking mood I'll just ride and glide to the sounds around me.

Short trips - less than 100 or 200 miles- we usually go with the radio. On long jaunts we plug in the Mp3 player. The intercom is always on, of course. The GPS isn't set up to talk through system - I already have one woman telling me where to go, I don't need the babe-in-the-box chiming in,too.

I'm like Nana. Eveh though I have a radio I very seldom turn i on. I love the wind and the sound of the machine. Really makes me relax quick. Ted

I was mildly irritated with the dealer that they didn't install the requested XM modulator on the new radio our trike needed. I planned on phoning them and requesting they get the part in for us....UNTIL we went on our first trip. I have found I really enjoy just the trike, the wind and the other sights, sounds, and even smells around us. In fact, the one time hubby turned the radio on I had him turn it off....I find it an annoying disturbance to the peace of riding. It seems like once the wind starts blowing in your face it blows a good portion of your troubles away!

I guess I am a little different the ONLY time I listen to music is when on my Bike. It is a part of my alone time to worship God and marvel at his creation, I basically sing away. The part I don't get is people wanted to use their cell phones, etc.

DON'T GET ME STARTED ON CELL PHONES AND DRIVING/RIDING. I am one of those guys that pulls over when using the phone. Or I answer and tell them I'll call back.

I love music its a big part of my life but when I ride I dont listen to music ,Riding is like therapy to me and I dont want to interupt my therapy .:wtg:

Therapy is great looking at the scenery, watching traffic, listening to the sounds of the engine, wind in my hair and the most important to me is the freedom of triking feeling. I am truly BLESSED.

Depends on my mood & how long I've been on the road. In town I usually have the radio on. Out on the open road, I LOVE the sound of my pipes (Thunder Header slip ons on true duals kicked by a stage 2 engine) at about 80 MPH!! Remindes me of Gramdpa's '56 Ford with the 292 T Bird engine feeding dual glass packs. Once I've been pounding pavement for 10 or 12 days straight & running 350+ miles/day, THEN I MIGHT turn on the MP3 for a little variety. I ran just shy of 6,000 miles in 23 days last summer. The only thing better than the sound of my pipes is getting to listen to 'em day after day after day!! I REALLY enjoyed that trip!! Even though I blew my knee out 3 days from the end of the trip & was in real pain, I still would have liked to have stayed on the road for another week at least. Just waiting 'till I can do it again on 3 wheels instead of 2! No more cramps in my arms from the death grip on the bars when I hit a gravel road!!
