Has anyone installed a parking brake on their Hannigan kit? If so, would you be able to supply the information for one of our clubs members.:)
Your help is always appreciated.

</div>Which Hannigan trike kit/bike chassis are you speaking of? Many folks pack a small wooden or aluminum wedge chock for instances where help of this sort is needed. That's what I did when I had a Hannigan/K LT trike without a parking brake. My current Roadsmith/GL1800 trike does have a parking brake but I would not opt for it if buying new. It isn't worth the price to me.

Hi Wolf, To comply in NZ both rear wheels must be braked also. We use automotive rear calipers & discs which are ready set for cable activated park brakes & hydraulic main brakes. Then it is just a matter of finding a suitable place to mount the hand lever , which I might add is easier said than done. :(
